TGAF: Fleece-lined leggings, Pantone mug, "Darlin'"

  • Capelli Fleece-Lined Leggings
A few of my friends have been raving about their fleece-lined leggings, so I finally got on board with that trend and bought myself a pair.  I wish I'd done it much sooner.  They're so comfortable and cozy that it feels like you're wearing pajamas, but they don't get too warm, which was a concern for me.  Plus, they're totally opaque, which means no more see-through leggings and a better world to live in.
  • Yellow Pantone Mug
I found this mug at the thrift store the other day and thought it was such a quirky piece.  It was only 99 cents, so it was a total steal too!  Especially during these chilly months you can never have too many mugs for enjoying your warm beverages.  I also love the mug section at the thrift store because it's a great way to get affordable presents for everyone.
  • "Darlin'" Branches
This is one of the free downloads available through NoiseTrade.  When I saw that they were similar to Mumford and Songs and Noah and the Whale, I decided to give them a listen.  It's a fun song with male and female vocals, hand claps and an upbeat folk/indie/rock sound.

TGAF: Melting snowman, Tangled phone case, "Rainforest" nail polish

  • Melting Snowman from Lush
During this time of the year my dry skin and stress levels go up a couple notches.  In order to kill two birds with one stone, I enjoy taking weekly baths to nourish my skin and de-stress.  One of my favorite bath additions is the Melting Snowman from Lush.  It contains cocoa and shea butter to moisturize skin and smells like cinnamon, clove and citrus.  The cozy smell helps me mellow out and my skin feels smooth and hydrated when I'm done.  I separate the head and break up the body into three pieces to make it last longer and be a little more cost efficient.
  • Tangled Phone case
One of my friends showed me this phone case and I immediately fell in love with it.  It's pretty and fun, but doesn't look like an immature, Disney princess phone case.  I'm excited to add it to my collection!
  • "Rainforest" Revlon Colorstay Nail Polish
I love green nail polish at this time of year and thought the sparkles in "Rainforest' add a little bit of whimsy for the holidays.  After just two coats it's completely opaque or try layering it over gold, black or green bases for different results.

TGAF: Boots Botanics, Arrow ring, Candy cane green tea

  • Boots Botanics Shine Away
While doing my favorite form of exercise (meandering around Target), I met a very nice woman in the beauty department that was a representative from Boots.  I'd heard of Boots before, but hadn't had the opportunity to try their products.  She told me all about their Botanics products, which were developed with Kew Royal Botanical Gardens and use active plant extracts.  They have Botanics products for different skin problems, but I was most excited about the Shine Away line.  I've been using the Cleansing Mousse, Toner and Gel Cream for about two weeks and my skin looks balanced and refreshed.
This is my favorite product in the line because the gel cream dries quickly and doesn't feel heavy on my skin.
  • Gold Hammered Arrow Ring Set
I recently picked up this ring set from Forever 21 for only $4.80.  I loved the textured look of the rings and thought the arrows were cute.  I usually wear one of the arrows on one hand and either stack or spread out the three plain bands on my other hand.  These rings add a simple, shiny touch to an every day outfit.
  • Candy Cane Green Tea from Trader Joe's
A friend of mine tried this tea and loved it, so she's been gathering recruits ever since.  I'm proudly one of them.  I wasn't sure about combining candy canes with green tea, but it's a delicious, soothing combination.  The green tea makes this a light, warm beverage to enjoy, while the candy cane flavor makes it feel cozy and festive.  Call me crazy, but I even detect a slight chocolate flavor too!

TGAF: Minted Rose Lip Balm, "Collide," You've been Mangoed

  • Smith's Minted Rose Lip Balm
Lip balm is great for the colder weather because it's a little thicker and lasts longer.  Unfortunately, I don't like lip balms that you apply with your finger, so there aren't as many options.  I first noticed this product because of the adorable packaging, but after trying it I loved the way it moisturized and glossed my lips with a fresh, peppermint scent.
  • "Collide" Jake Miller
This song is so catchy that I immediately started dancing when it came on the radio and when the chorus happened was totally sold that this would be my new pump up jam.  I'm excited to hear more music from Jake Miller.
  • You've Been Mangoed from Lush
I was feeling a little tired and down in the dumps, so I decided to take a relaxing bath and this bath melt was the perfect perk-me-up.  It has a bright, invigorating, citrus smell and moisturized my skin really well.  This will be a great bath addition once it gets dark and cold during the winter.
